JEFF STREET (Divine Cosmos): “Never Mind What Is, Imagine It The Way You Want It To Be.”

man-opening-door-to-bright-light

Attention to WHAT IS only creates more WHAT IS.”

One of the reasons our lives and the world change so slowly, if at all, is that most of us pay far too much attention to how things currently are — to “what is” rather than to “what could be”.  This bias is not surprising because most of us are deeply convinced by the illusion of linear time and causality and aren’t aware that our thoughts create our reality.  Unfortunately, these misunderstandings about the nature of reality encourage us to pay far to much attention to present circumstances and cause us to LIMIT what we believe is possible for the future.  A powerful habit that can take your manifestation ability to the next level is to do less observing and more imagining.

The Power of Transcending the Belief in Linear Causality

One of the core limiting beliefs maintaining the reality that we are currently immersed in is the idea of linear time and causality.  Believe it or not, our traditional ideas of cause and effect are wrong — the true cause of everything that comes into your experience are your thoughts!  If you fully understand and embrace the laws and mechanics of reality creation, then you know that the past only has a bearing on the future to the extent that you BELIEVE it does.

If we could completely and utterly let go of our belief in linear causality, then anything would be possible in the very next moment.  This is the basis of how the great spiritual masters throughout the ages were able to manifest miracles and magic and with the same level of belief anyone can do the same!

The Trap of Focusing On What Is

The Law of Attraction states that the more you think about a subject, the more likely it is to manifest into your life.  And since what you pay attention to you are thinking about, paying too much attention to “what is” only serves to perpetuate more of the same.

In addition to the “more of the same” effect, giving too much attention to present circumstances can also influence our belief in what is possible for the future — typically LIMITING what we believe is possible.  And since what you do not believe you cannot manifest this is very disempowering!  One of the take-aways from this is that focusing on possibilities rather than limitations is a very good habit to nurture.

Even worse than giving too much credence to present circumstances is worrying about what happened in the past — to “what was”.  This is a bit off-topic, but I want to mention it because WORRY in all its many forms is a huge stumbling block to effective manifesting, and I’ll be discussing it in future installments of this series, stay tuned.

The net effect of paying too much attention to (and giving too much credence to) present circumstances is to significantly limit what changes and improvements you can manifest into your life.  It’s a double-whammy disempowering habit.

Giving More Attention to What Could Be

If you want to improve your life quicker, you’ve got to spend less time paying attention to what is and more time imagining how you want it to be — here’s a little practical advice on how to do that.

Work on becoming more aware of what you are focusing on.  When you catch yourself thinking about a present or anticipated circumstance that you don’t particularly feel good about, or isn’t pleasing to you, that’s your cue to switch immediately to imagining it the way you want it to be.  Let yourself daydream!

Yes, I know that you might feel silly or even uncomfortable unleashing your imagination and using daydreaming as a tool.  Sadly, adults in our society are taught to be very rational and serious, which is really hampering their creative freedom and power.  If you want to become a powerful creator, then you are going to have to become more uninhibited with your imagination!  Perhaps the following realization might help — since daydreaming and imagining are largely happening in the privacy of your own head, no one will notice.

The sky is not the limit the mind is.pngIn addition to on-the-fly “imagineering”, I highly recommend spending 5 or 10 minutes a day doing a more formal imagineering session.  In these sessions, you concentrate on envisioning what you want in your life based on a very carefully crafted list of your desires.  More on this in upcoming articles, follow the blog or subscribe to this article series to stay tuned.

Become more possibility focused and unleash your imagination regularly to envision what could be and you will be amazed how things will begin to go your way more and more frequently.

More power to you!

Enjoy!

LJ VANIER: “11 Things Highly Intuitive People Do Differently”

PresenceofGaia_Josephine Wall_jpegHow many times have kicked yourself for not following your inner voice, your inner ear or just trusting your gut? How many times have you said to yourself “I knew I shouldn’t have done that!!”… and how many times have you paid for it later? If you’re anything like me, you could say a lot.
And then there are those people who just seem to have it all figured out, well at least, for the most part. They seem to have that extra sense. They’re tuned in and locked on and life seems to flow more naturally for them.

7e49529664b7248c68e296a63bc36a85-e1466106361976-636x381Yes, they can be aggravating for those of us who don’t always see the world quite so clearly.

Or for those of us who know the path, but just can’t seem to put one foot in front of the other and follow it with what appears to be blind faith. Many of us are still so accustomed to more logical and rational (right brain) thinking that we block out our own intuitive knowing of what we should do, making the more safe play in many of life’s circumstances.

There is one major difference that separates highly intuitive people with everyone else, and the difference is trust. Highly intuitive people know how to trust themselves.

They have an internal knowing that they don’t need to muddy and meddle with things in life. In fact, they understand that the more they interfere, the more they become a hindrance in the natural unfolding of life’s journey. It’s the way of no way so to speak, and through it, we find that life will always align itself with the experiences we need to find fulfillment.

11. Their Partners

A highly intuitive person chooses their partner not by looks, physique, material possessions or any other ego driven persona. An intuitive person looks deeper. Equipped with a built-in radar that pierces beyond to find what rests in their potential mates heart.

Quite often you will hear a highly intuitive person say that they chose their partner above all else because he/she “has a good heart”.

10. Their Careers

shutterstock_203246677A highly intuitive person will not choose one career over another because of a larger salary.

When faced with career decisions, they will choose the place of work where they feel the most connected to those around them.

They seek vibrational alignment and mutual understanding with their coworkers.

They want to work and create with those that bring them happiness and fulfilment.

9. Their Passions

Highly intuitive people almost always have a passion or a calling. They can’t help but be creative as their intuition breeds creativity, building upon each other. Creativity is always beckoning for an outlet and the more in tune we are, the more we are need of one!

8. Where They Live

Highly intuitive people require solitude and lots of it in order to rebalance and recharge.

Alike to empaths, highly intuitive people are aware of the energy around them at all times and are very observant. In tight living quarters, they are able to feel the energy of others and will quite often scope out their surroundings before signing any kind of long-term deal. Intuitives prefer living along side bodies of water, or wide open green spaces and when they can’t get their fill of the forest, they will bring nature to them, literally.

7. Their Friends

shutterstock_12314449Intuitives know themselves very well and by this wisdom attained they understand others on a deeper level than most. Intuitives will keep their circles small but are known to be very likeable and approachable to others.

Highly intuitive people are often drawn to friendships that will encourage their own personal growth and seek those who can match their level emotionally by mirroring themselves in order to illuminate the hidden aspects of their shadow.

Highly intuitive people will have learned hard lessons in friendships and will have lost many along the journey, all the while knowing that each served as a stepping stone in their soul progression. Intuitives aren’t afraid of these relationships and are thankful for the lessons they bring.

6. Their Body

I eat what I want…. when I want!

Intuitives are known to be ‘snackers’ and they listen to what their body needs in order to function at an optimal level. They know that great energy flow begins with taking care of your body first and intuitives know how to listen.

5. Their Goals

“My goal is not to be better than anyone else, but better than I used to be” -Wayne Dyer

shutterstock_199696376Highly intuitive people are not usually highly competitive or in constant competition with others.

They tend to measure their success by looking back to see what they have learnedand how far they have come.

4. What They Value

“More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren’t so busy denying them” -Harold J Smith.

Above all else highly intuitive people value honesty. They understand that every single person on this entire earth is here to learn and evolve and they appreciate those who can own up to their own faults. They highly value wisdom attained and understand that wisdom can come from hard lessons.

3. Their Activities

shutterstock_335742965

A highly intuitive person will naturally engage in activities that will balance their energy.

They will be automatically be drawn to what they feel is ‘out of sync’ and will seek to rebalance themselves as soon as possible.

This will typically occur without a conscious thought process as they find themselves sporadically participating in outdoor activity, a yoga class, gardening, clay moulding, painting, reading, writing, meditating, or simply listening to music.

2. Synchronicities

From an outsiders perspective, a highly intuitive person can be viewed as someone who is quick to draw conclusions or someone that is always looking for meaning even in the smallest of synchronicity. But to the perceptive one, a highly intuitive person understands that life is created by our own imaginations. Our thoughts create our reality, and our energy attracts our experience.

A highly intuitive person will quite often notice these meaningful coincidences through rapid thought manifestation and signs from the universe by way of symbolism.

1. Their Dreams

A highly intuitive person understands that dreams are the gateway to understanding themselves better. As it is only by knowing ourselves that we can truly become the masters of our reality.

dreamThrough our dream state we explore our own emotional depths, we work out problems to every-day life situations, and we connect to a higher level of consciousness where we gain insight on our own soul called journey, life purpose and collective evolution.

Highly intuitive people may regularly look to dream interpretation in order to decipher symbolism and may even keep a dream journal.

So how intuitive are you?

You may have noticed by this list, that the purpose of this article is to illustrate that we are all highly intuitive, but only if we choose to be. We all have an inner voice, and we can choose to listen to it or choose to ignore it. Each time you ignore it however, life becomes a little more difficult. The path becomes a little more steep and little less clear.

So choose to listen. Choose to trust yourself and choose to always follow your heart. May your journey always be guided.

ALEXA PELLEGRINI: “Find Yourself: Mantras for Self-Discovery, Freedom and Joy”

Header-32-700x325

Our world is constantly evolving and constantly demanding that we, as a society and as individuals, evolve with it. Finding love and living an authentic lifestyle have become secondary to achieving professional success and financial security. Many of us become so immersed in our daily routines that over time, we lose touch with ourselves and our dreams.

In order to heal, we must understand that drive, ambition and materialism can only take us so far before we suffer under the weight of emptiness, regardless of how successful we are by society’s standards.  Even after achieving our goals, we may feel unsatisfied and continue to crave validation or material comforts to quiet an inner lack of self-acceptance and love. Where, then, can happiness be found?

As you embark on the soul’s journey to enlightenment, you will discover the greatest success you can attain is connecting with your higher self and integrating love into your life. ‘Happiness’ is not derived from the material, nor is it attainable only to a select few. Finding happiness is simple: when we release our obsessions over attaining the ‘perfect’ success and material security, we free our hearts and move closer to experiencing an authentic, joyful existence.

Find yourself in a chaotic, apathetic world

Why Recite Mantras? Mantras Guide Us to Love

By accessing the power of speech through mantras, you can re-frame your thinking to purify negativity with love. Mantras are simple yet powerful phrases that are continuously recited in order to provide a healing, stabilizing effect on the mind. The repetitious quality of mantras yield the potential to open doors to achieving love, happiness and meaningful accomplishments.

Anxiety, perfectionism, guilt and pessimism are common roadblocks to finding freedom from the ‘rat race’. The following mantras offers solutions to overcoming these barriers. Ideally, sit in a serene space and repeat each desired mantra at your preferred pace. Slow pacing will calm the heart and reduce anxiety. Fast pacing will provide an intense, regenerative effect that will increase your pulse and breathing; be aware of your energy levels during fast recitation.

Reciting mantras allows for self-acceptance and inner peace

1. Everything ends.

When you are overwhelmed by anxiety or believe you are ‘stuck’ in a situation, you must remember that everything ends. Life is composed of cycles; every negative cycle must occur for a positive cycle to begin. Even our most frustrating, terrible cycles will come to an end. A difficult situation is not a permanent barrier to any kind of happiness.

2: I am enough.

Perfectionism is a major roadblock to incorporating love and happiness into your life. Take a moment each day to remind yourself that you are enough. Who has told you that you are ‘not good enough’? Will punishing yourself bring love and prosperity? As you recite this mantra, look at yourself in the mirror–be your own best supporter. This mantra should be repeated to counteract negative self-talk.

3: My life is my own.

This is particularly helpful for those who feel obligated to take on the responsibilities of others, and for those who feel guilty for having their own needs. Only by honoring your true desires without being restricted by the unrealistic expectations of others will you ever truly find happiness. Every being is entitled to follow his unique path — excessive self-sacrifice will only create a harmful imbalance in your life and the lives of others.

4: Let love be my guide.

There is nothing as holistic and cleansing as integrating love as a guiding energy into your life. Give into the divine will of the Universe by releasing all negative thinking; when your mind and heart have opened, you will see joy unfold before your eyes. As you recite this mantra, imagine a warm, pink light wrapping around your body like a blanket, drawing out all darkness from your auric field.

L.J. DEVON: “Meditating For Just A Few Minutes Each Day Reduces Stress While Boosting Feelings Of Happiness”

meditating-at-sunset

We are constantly taking information in through our corporeal senses. Technology and social media are constantly streaming noise, beliefs, news and chatter into our hearts and minds. When we stop to meditate, all the noise dissipates. In this moment, we can now take a deep breath and listen.

In the stillness, in the quiet, everything changes. We are no longer dependent on information from our material world. When we stop, listen and breathe, we can begin to connect with ourselves on a much deeper level.

As we focus our attention inward, into imagination and visualization, relaxation ensues. The heart and the mind are put at ease. As breathing slows, as tension is released, blood pressure can normalize. In this state, our greatest fears and anxieties can be addressed.

Meditation benefits mind, body and spirit

In the January 2014 issue of JAMA Internal Medicine, researchers published a comprehensive review on the benefits of meditation. Not only is meditation observed and documented as a way to relieve anxiety, but it can also be used as a means to reduce pain and manage depression. These benefits are all possible because the sympathetic nervous system is engaged and regulated more effectively for important functions such as oxygen intake through deep breathing, a steadier heart rate and lowered blood pressure.

Burke Lennihan, a registered nurse who teaches meditation at the Harvard University Center for Wellness, says the benefits of meditation extend beyond just the physical. “True, it will help you lower your blood pressure, but so much more: it can help your creativity, your intuition, your connection with your inner self,” she says.

Various forms of meditation help people heal in different ways

Many people, not recognizing it, have engaged in forms of meditation throughout their lives to cope with big decisions and life changes. Walking meditation or prayerful meditation are two common examples where one tunes out of the material world and focuses the mind, heart or breath. The benefits of meditation are even more powerful when practiced regularly as a discipline.

Concentration mediation teaches one how to direct and focus the mind to achieve desired results. Mindfulness meditation helps one address the negative thoughts that enter the mind so they can be dealt with in a healthy manner. Heart-centered mediation helps one bring awareness to the powerful energy center in the chest, helping one manage emotions and relationship difficulties. In Tai chi and qigong, mediation is combined with physical exercise to enhance breathing and focus. In transcendental meditation, one repeats a mantra, whether it’s a word, phrase or sound, to quiet thoughts and to achieve greater awareness of oneself and the connection to all living things.

Burke Lennihan says that the most powerful experience is when two or more people gather to meditate. When a teacher is present, a verbal guided visualization can be initiated to stimulate the meditative experience of individuals and the group as a whole. Giving feedback after a group meditation, whether to the group as a whole or to a friend, is a powerful experience as well, as illusions and judgments of one another are shattered.

Lennihan says meditation doesn’t have to be complex. It can as simple as doing deep breathing exercises. Meditation can be a launching pad to connect with oneself, filter out negativity, deprogram from social conditioning, or connect with others on a deeper level.

Lennihan says that it’s great to start with 10 minutes of quiet time each day, and to set aside a safe, quiet place. “You’ll build up a special feeling there, making it easier to get into a meditative state more quickly,” she says. Symbols, photos, candles, herbs, crystals, essential oils and articles of nature are often used to surround a meditation practice to make the experience more personal, centered and meaningful for the individual.

The practice of meditation is an important healing art that can be a useful vehicle for finding inner calm and inner strength in the most stressful situations in life. These self-control techniques can help one manage stress more effectively, slow the aging process and create more positive interactions with others.

KATE SUPINO: “The Doorway of Your Imagination”

man-opening-door-to-bright-light.jpg

There was a point in your life; one single point, at your conception, when you were born into existence. Your life force entered into the world of form, yet you were not yet formed by the physical. At that moment, you were the essence of yourself, and nothing more. In the next instant, you became affected upon by the world of form. Everything physical; touch, sound, feel, changed and mutated your path. As you became physical, you became susceptible to the physical. You began to make your journey of physical life on this earth. Yet the pathway remained to your higher self, to the pure self that began your existence in the physical world. Some of us have not used the pathway ever, or not enough.

As the years have gone by, you may have felt that you lost yourself. The phrase, “I feel lost” is indicative of your having forgotten the pure you who came into this world in the form of your physical body. Many of us have become lost. The stories are different, but the message is the same. Maybe you have been beaten down by the world by ill treatment or wrong doings. Maybe you have been distracted by the temptations of temporary pleasures such as worldly goods, lusty desires, death-defying thrills or mind-numbing addictions. Many of us have lost our way home.

Meditation-7a

The pathway to your higher self is through a portal that allows movement in two directions. The door to the pathway is through your imagination, but imagination is not the pathway itself. Imagination is not the destination, the pathway or the journey. It is only the doorway. When you open the doorway of imagination, you are lighting up the pathway to your higher self; the self you were born to be.

When we speak of using our imagination to reach our higher self, we are speaking of reaching the higher self to receive the message of who we are, and where we are meant to go, what we are meant to do. Our imagination doorway is not limited by what others tell us we should do, or what people tell us we are incapable of doing. It is simply there, waiting for you to use it, and to seek the answers you will find. You will not find the answer here, in these words. You will only find answers when you use the key to open the door of your own imagination.
